One Film a Day: Hello, World
I watch a lot of films — enough that when friends ask if I’ve seen anything good lately, I always have three titles ready. But the feeling fades fast, like tossing the ticket stub on the way out of the theatre. I watched it, and yet somehow nothing stayed.
So here is the plan: one film, one post, every day, for a year.
Not necessarily new releases. Most days it will be films I watched years ago that never quite left — the ones where a single scene resurfaces at 2 a.m. I want to write about what they feel like on a rewatch, and about the things I missed the first time and only understood a decade later.
The rules are simple:
- One post a day, 365 days
- Honesty first, polish second
- Written in Traditional Chinese first, then rewritten in English for the other half of the planet
If you are the kind of person who stays quiet for a moment after the credits roll, you will feel at home here.
